I didn't know that CCL tears ever healed other than to scar at the tear site. I thought they remained weak, painful and always re-injured very easily, could cause permanent limp and pain and subject the opposite leg to undue stress, especially in small dogs that jump so much. I didn't realize it was a CCL tear. I sure would vet her with an ortho and be sure she has pain relief in the meantime. I'll sure add that baby to my prayers right now. Poor little thing.
