I do sort of agree with him thou . . . she cant be tethered every minute of every day while she is awake or how will you know that she has learn her boundaries?
If you have already set clear boundaries for her, everyone knows them and you have worked with her so that she knows them. They need to be tested to reassure that they are clear. What better way to do that than to allow her to run free. But only after she has done her business and only under strick supervision. I think its the DH that needs a refresher corse on the rules and boundaries that you have in place!! |
Oh I do understand the boundaries issue and I don't have a problem with some free time. I don't have a problem giving her some free time if she's supervised. Problem is...DH gives her free time then goes into another room or outside so no one is watching her. LOL Then he pitches a fit when she poops in the hallway and not in her playpen and I catch all the grief because she's MY dog. This is just going to take some time...in the meantime, I am doing the best I can and I think Princess Sophie is as well. It's the DH that needs training! Hahahahaha!!!!
