Thanks for posting this, I've read about this happening, that people actually pretend to be the breeders and they end up being brokers. They get their dogs from mills and mislead unsuspecting customers into thinking that they are a great breeder. Yes, it's a huge red flag when a breeder has that many puppies for sell, and it may be the only red flag, so you were wise to check her out. I thoroughly agree with you that not asking enough questions is a red flag along with being overly friendly! I try to warn people against "overly friendly" breeders, but they think I'm nuts! This is a trait of salesmen, not breeders! I hope you post this in lots of different threads to help educate people. Your personal experience is invaluable for educating others.
