How do you keep the hair around their nose and mouth clean, or at least, out of their mouth. He licks his lips all the time.

Hi Victoria,
To keep hair out of the mouth, I basically chase my boys around all day pulling it out.

It's not that bad, but I do have to watch them when they eat or have toys in their mouths. When they have chews, I band their mustaches, making a little pony tail on each side of the top of the mouth.
To keep their mustaches and mouths clean, I use a warm wash cloth daily. As Lisa noted, you do have to watch out for yeast growth. Max's mustache seemed to be wet all of the time when he was a pup. We used a water bottle like the ones used for smaller animals instead of a water dish.

Thank you Lisa!
I completely forgot about Jada's near disaster when she got her beard wrapped around her little tooth.
