What does everyone use to stop their dog trying to get through the screen of an open window?
The main windows that ZoE usually looks out of are in the living room. One is a fixed glass picture window and the other is a window that's behind a chaise, so it rarely gets opened because it's hard to reach.
Last summer, I built a sunroom on the back of my house. It has lots of windows. ZoE seems sure this room was built just for her and loves to sit in there and look out the windows. Problem is, it's not a heated/cooled space, and with all those windows is gets hot in there in the warmer months, so opening windows is a must. I'm afraid ZoE will charge through the screen if she sees a bird, squirrel, rabbit, etc in the yard...and it's a bit of a drop to ground level
So, I was thinking about building a window guard out of wood. Then I thought I'd probably need a few of them, so I could have a few windows open & get a cross-breeze. Now when faced with this project, along with all my many unfinished projects (including trimming out the sunroom)...I'm hoping someone has come across an easier solution.
