When I first bought my Yorkie, Pixie Pie, her breeder sent her food ground up. She was a picky eater so I mixed it with chicken broth and her vet told me add whatever she would eat to the mixture. I found baby food in Chicken and Noodles her favorite. I'd just add a smidge. When she was older and on Prescrition ID for awhile, which she hated, I added a bit of water and sprinkled a smidge of grated parmesan cheese on the top. It worked.
