Hi, I'm new here, but how come everything I try to post never gets posted right away and says a moderator has to approve it?

I'm not a bad person or a spammer and with being restricted like this, if I had an important question that I needed a fast or urgent answer to, I'd end up stuck or having to look elsewhere because I don't know how long it would take for someone to review it and to approve it to appear in the forum :-(

I've been contributing to forums since the Telnet and BBS days (over 15 years) and I've never joined a forum that ever moderated my posts or contributions :-( I'm disappointed :-(

How long does it have to stay this way before I am trusted and able to contribute? I've written 4 posts (including this one) and it still says I have never posted, none of them show up, and I just get a message saying a moderator will review it first. :-(
