OMG, I was holding my breath until I read he was ok. My runner would have just had to finish in his bag and then be removed and hosed off. He runs and goes deaf to his name when off leash, so I would not have ever put him on the ground near traffic. Heck, it scares me when we travel and he has to potty near the road despite a harness and secure leash. I'm so glad furrybaby is ok. Just remember in the future, a poop covered dog is much more desirable than an injured or missing or worse dog. Whew...not an adventure youwant to repeat, I'm sure.
