What a terrible, tragic thing to have happen!
She is still so young that she will adapt quickly, though, and never remember life without the wheelchair. It will be normal, everyday gettin' around for her. She is lucky and blessed to have such a caring, loving furever family who is taking such good care of her. I agree with yorkiemom1, the owner of the attacking dog needs to man up for some of these bills. Many homeowner insurance policies cover dog bites, if it is not specifically excluded under liability. I would check with that owner anyway. Please keep us updated on Daisy's progress. I pray that she continues to improve and adapt and that her puncture wounds heal without incident.
