Default Spinal Fracture in my 3 month old Yorkie :(

My baby girl Daisy has a spinal fracture from what the doctor is telling us. She was attacked by a German Shepard and has a puncture wound on her back that has broken the bone and now her spinal cord has some bone fragments in it. We have taken her to a specialist and she is staying at the hospital until Monday. The doctor has given us a 1% chance that she will ever walk again. She is also incontinent of both bowel and bladder. Looks like we will be getting her a wheelchair in a few months after the fracture heals. The vets we talked to seem like they want us to put her to sleep, but that's not an option for us. She is in no pain and she is the same feisty little girl she's always been. She had no feeling at all in her left leg and some deep pain response in her right leg. Over the past few days she's gotten some feeling in two toes on her left back paw. The vet was happy that she's progressing, but still not hopeful about her walking. They made her a splint and she will come home in it and have to be crate confined for about three months.
