I use the coupler for my girls almost daily for multiple uses. Shopping carts included.

I don't take them to pet stores but I DO take them to Marshall's, Ross, TJMaxx, Home Goods etc and we use the coupler there along with for securing in cars seats, stroller, bike basket, etc. we use it for everything BUT walking.
