I am so sorry Chase had such a traumatizing experience at that groomer.
I agree with maybe grooming Chase yourself. There are so many youtube videos that can help and it's a great bonding time for the 2 of you. Best still - it doesn't have to all be done at one sitting. You can gradually work on Chase in little sessions until he's done
