I don't know about a baby but I have a drama queen. Destiny isn't a baby in most aspects but when I first come home she screams her little head off. It the most awful scream and if you heard it you would think someone was beating her to death as it is that bad.
The first time I heard it I about had a heart attack because I thought she was dying. She only does it though when I first come home and it only lasts about 10 seconds. If I leave the room she is fine.
I've always wanted to record it because I've truly never heard anything like it. It's not a bark, or yelp, it is a blood curling scream.
She also did this when she was spayed last year. I took time off from work so I could be with her and as long as she was with me on my lap she was content but if I left her side for even a second the first two days she screamed her head off. Of course I felt bad so I ended up carrying her with me everywhere. Not exactly easy using the bathroom with a dog on your lap, lol.
