The Yorkie was lucky to have a bigger buddy to save him.
My neighbor's Yorkie was attacked in the yard by a hawk and was lucky to survive. Like the dog in this story, his sides were torn up by the hawk's talons. He weighs 9+ pounds, proving dogs don't have to be tiny to be targets of birds of prey.
