That is scary and thank goodness you got immediately into the ER and got the bloodwork and new meds. Necks can sure cause some bad, bad, bad headaches, can't they? I feel so bad for you and hopefully that neck will settle for a while after this Spring weather is done. Have you been working a lot with your neck held in one position or your arms a lot, especially but not necessarily up/overhead so your head goes back? Reading a lot? As you know, those things can really aggravate the neck. Shrugging your shoulders a lot during the day, don't ever put your head back and showering in very very very warm/hot water with a thick turkish towel spread over your neck, shoulder and upper back can help your neck. The hotter the water the better and stand in the water for 15 minutes if you can. I'm praying for you.
