Yes, I completely forgot to mention that I have tried pee pads. She just won't go on them & most of the time I would find them torn up. I have kept one in her bigger crate, but she hasn't gone in there at all. So I know she can hold it, since she won't go in there.

Funny you mention your yorkie going NEXT to the pee pad...my sister has a 2 pounder tea cup yorkie, who uses the pee pads. She said she will frequently go right next to the pad as well. What's up with that? haha
