I have the Platinum for coupled years now and love it. Once in awhile I get the urge for a plain ole cup of Maxwell House, so on those rare occasions, I have the plastic container to use in place of the k-cup. You just put a tiny coffee filter in it, drop it in like a k-cup and you can use any brand of coffee you want.
