I'd get him back on the I/D dry ASAP. To help with his digestion, or to make it easier, I'd add probiotics/digestive enzymes to the I/D.

I definitely would not feed him anymore of the lowfat food. If this is an allergic reaction, no different than a bee sting, and each time he eats this his reaction will get worse and could become life threatening. (similar to peanut/shellfish allergies in people). I'd get to the vet's in the AM and get some of the regular I/D dry for him. You know he's okay on this so I'd continue until his system settles down, then in a few weeks try a food change to the HA or another type. You may want to wait for the BAT resultss at least, as you may need to adjust his food as a result of the BAT.
