I just read that thread and it's tragic! Yorkies can get parvo even if vaccinated, if they are under 1 year of age, and the virus can persist in the environment and be carried by clothing or shoes. I won't take Bella beyond the front yard for the time being. (I live in a fairly dog-free neighborhood, and no one walks their dog through my front yard.)
