I did feel the pavement with my hand first, and it was a little toasty, but tolerable. This afternoon, she went halfway down the driveway with me. Then I took her into the front yard to sit with me in the grass, smell dandelions, and watch bees (safely from a distance ). I won't take her where there are other dogs (or other animals) until after her 16 week shots.
