As Chachi has said there is a lot of controversy regarding the two. From what I understand they are all bred from yorkies.
I have a biewer...she is stunning and can hear perfectly....I haven't heard anything about a predisposition to deafness....that's a new one to me....hopefully some biewer breeder will chime in, there are several on here.
