I think boots are great but you do have to get your dogs used to them. Of course they will not like them when you first put them on because they are not used to them. Most dogs that I have owned also do not like being walked on a leash for the first few times either. You have to get them used to it. My yorkie got used to shoes fairly quickly and she does great with them.
