There are a LOT of Yorkie mixes on this board, so please don't feel like only pure-breds are welcome! =D
If the vet rules out any issue causing the thin hair keep in mind that it could just be a phase. A couple of the pups in the litter with my boy had really thin hair- bald looking on their heads- and after a few months they ended up having really thick hair. Same with my neighbors' pup- she went through a phase where she ended up losing a lot of hair on her head but now it is just as full and thick as you would expect in a Yorkie.
