I know this is a forum for pure-bred yorkies, I originally wanted a pure bred yorkie but when I came across pictures of my half yorkipoo half shih tzu puppy I do not know how to describe it but I just had to have him.
We have had him for a week and I LOVE HIM and he is attached to me as well, the sweetest and best puppy you could imagine.
The thing is he comes from two puppies with a lot of hair (I saw the parents) and the other puppies in his litter had a lot of hair except him. He is 4 months old and his hair is very sparse, he has the bottom coat but the top coat is super super thin to where it makes it look like he has bald spots and my husband is afraid that he is a little too thin.
I am taking him to a vet tomorrow, but what should i ask the vet? What do I do to stimulate his hair growth? I know he won't have real yorkie hair but his hair now makes it look like he is not healthy and people always ask why his hair is so thin.
Also most puppies of his mix have a lot of hair, is this normal?
