I agree with Kjc, use as little as you can to entice them. Usually a quick sprinkle on top is enough. Remember, they go through growth spurts and sometimes there just aren't that hungry, but unless something is seriously wrong, they will eat when they are hungry. Kibble is made to be just tasty enough for them to eat, but not so tasty that they will overeat, because with some foods, a dog would eat until it got sick. Parmesan cheese comes in really handy, when doing a food change, but once they get use to the food, they will eat it without the cheese. I still use the little thin flake kind, as a treat, they really love it.
