But in our system of justice and with all of our freedoms here and people able to move across borders, buy or secure anything anytime easily, friends and family on the go and everybody doing their own thing, there just rarely is a single cut and dried gotcha event or fact that absolutely buttonholes a murderer who kills in the night in a private home with the only witness dead. And murderers count on that.
From the moment I saw that last photo of Travis Alexander looking straight into the camera while in that shower, I saw fear in his eyes and expression. He looks far from sexy - he looks scared and full of dread. I think she had the gun pointed at him for those shower photos. I think at that time, she wanted to memorialize what she was about to do and glory in the body of the man she was planning to ravage. |
