I think he'll be fine in the 5. The 6 might be big on him. Do you want me to send you the 4 & see if it fits? My boy has a 14" girth & the size 3 (12-14") fits him perfectly. If you like it, you can keep it. If it's too small, just send it back to me. Think about it & let me know. It's just sitting here, so it's not going to go anywhere
