Thank you for your thoughtful and kind words. This was my first time ever having to do this and I know that it was the best thing for her. I still look at the back of the couch when I get up in the morning because that is where she always was. She liked to keep an eye on the neighborhood. Saturday while I was gone to a show my husband picked up her ashes. So they were there when I got home along with a package from KiminMD. she sent me a book she found called For Every Dog An Angel. and a card. It wasn't to long ago that her and I talked about knowing when it was time to let them go. She had Lucy and I had Willow. I am grateful everyday that she became a part of my life, Not only has she been a true friend but she is also the Mom to Mia and Allie and Lola.
