I'm just guessing here but if he's doing his business regularly and it seems to be of normal consistency (not runny or loose...ugh) then he's probably fine. If he is showing no signs of discomfort I would think he's probably fine also. Each puppy is different in some ways so what is normal for your pup may be a little less than normal for someone else's pup. The key is...is your pup eating, doing his business, playing, and doing all things "puppy" then he's probably fine!
Someone else may come along with better info than mine but really, only you can decide if your pup's functioning is "normal". If in doubt I would run to my vet. Good luck, you are a great parent to be concerned!!!
