I would sure wait past 5 months. If the adult teeth are not in yet then wait. Usually if they are going to have retained teeth the adult teeth will come in and the baby teeth will be behind them. At that point you know they are going to need help getting them out. They can get a bad infection if the baby teeth are not removed after the adult teeth are in. |
