How scary! I'm actually surprised your vet told you to induce vomiting for a button. Was it a fairly small button? I probably would've just let something like that pass.... I think you're also only supposed to give peroxide twice, I think, and no more? Jax ate a piece of a lego once and pooped it out the next day
