I used to not like it as a kid bc I thought it was dry, and mostly we ate it on "juk" (congee) and usually we were served juk when we were sick. You know bland diet? LOL But I like it now. I like that kind of sweet. Not sugary sweet but like glazey sweet, I know that doesn't make sense though. But I like juk now.
