I'm half Filipino & I agree...it's all oily. I love it though! I suppose it reminds me of my childhood. I love GOOD Chinese food too. I'm a snob now because I lived in HKG for 9 years

But I'm not a fan of that shredded pork stuff (on top of the donut). It's too sweet for me. I only eat it to be polite. There's a Jollibee here in Queens. I love pancit palabok! But it's def an acquired taste.
