I don't have any experience with Iverhart so I can't help there. I wanted to post so this will go to the top so others are more likely to see it.

With that said, I wanted to say welcome to YT! You came to the right place to ask any and all questions because we have so many experienced Yorkie breeders and owners here.

Also, the way I read your question is that you were giving one form of Iverhart and now (due to recall) your vet has given you another form of the same brand - Iverhart. Is that right? If so, I wouldn't worry about switching. I mean, they can't be that far apart in the base ingredient if they are both the same brand.

The only brand (for a Yorkie) that I can comment on is Heartguard Plus. Mandie loves it - I break it into pieces and she does tricks like sit and stay for it because she thinks it is a treat lol Also, she's never had any adverse reaction to it so far so it works for us.
