Did you use CET tooth paste? It never makes Callie's face sticky and if a little gets on her face I just use a wet cloth and it comes off easy. It's really important to brush small dogs teeth because they are known to have teeth problems and you don't want a 5 year old having to get most of there teeth pulled. I am sure they would rather have there teeth brushed then not have them at all. Bad teeth can lead to many health problems.
