Awwww! Puppy love is a wonderful thing, and it looks like you're in it.
I think Jax will be fine with Toby...they'll work out their puppy play. Play is the work that puppies do, and they learn valuable skills from it. I'd just watch and intervene if it gets too rough...I wouldn't want accidental injuries. Jax will get bigger. About the howling...not sure what age I'd expect to see that. Some dogs never howl, so I wouldn't even guess on that one. Since Jax is already doing it, I'd guess this is normal for him.
