I'm just curious if you've decided to take a break? Or go with a breeder? I do feel your pain. After making a decision to purchase instead of rescue, I started searching for a breeder in July of last year. I finally found "the one" in January. Then I waited for the breeding of a stud & dam that I liked. Then after speaking with my breeder, we both decided that a puppy from a different litter would be best for my family. So through all of that, I'm finally bringing home my puppy next month. It's been an 11 month process. I don't have a guarantee she will be the perfect puppy for me. But I think my chances are pretty good. I'm just trying to say, that either route requires patience. No matter what you decide, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait & red tape. I think that reputable breeders & rescues alike, have the same goal in mind...the greater good of the pet. And both strive to match each individual pet with the best family for them. It just takes a while to get there

I wish you the best of luck with your search!
