Default style advice needed

I've never cut my 2 1/2 year old Phoebe's hair except for her ears, feet, & sanitary. I was very happy with her beautiful full coat.

She had cataract surgery on Tuesday, and the vet shaved one side of her head from her beard to behind her ears. He even cut off her topknot! I know the hair will grow back, but I'm heartbroken by how pathetic she looks! I can't do any bathing or grooming for the next two weeks. I'm counting the hours lol.

I'm not sure what to do with her once I can groom her. I know I'll have to cut the other side of her head & face so she doesn't look so lopsided, but i'm not sure how far back on her head I should go. I'm also don't know if she will look silly with a long body coat & short head. Should I cut her body short to match her head? Any advice or suggestions? Thanks! Lori & Phoebe
