You guys who called vulture are right!!!
Those are Turkey Vultures. They are migrating now and are getting to there breeding grounds.. ND is totally in their range.
NO WORRIES. These birds are totally carrion (dead) eaters and scavenge. They are wonderful for the environment & pose ZERO threat to live furry things, including yorkies!
