AuntieAurora, please ask your vet if he did a "snap test" for parvo....usually when you show up at the vet with a sick puppy that is displaying a bunch of symptoms that could be ANYTHING, they will do blood work, and they will do a "snap test" for parvo...this testing that they do can narrow down the possibile illness you are working with....With the snap test for parvo, I think you can get occasional false positives, but I have not heard of false negatives......
