I improvise a lot. My hubby is so very picky. His diet consists of a list of "tried and true" items - he doesn't like change, chicken, fish or pork. He is a beef and 'taters kinda guy. Biscuits and gravey. Pinto beans and cornbread. Making Mexican Cornbread to go with the pinto beans is RADICAL in his life. Oh yeah, did I mention that he doesn't "do" leftovers?
I get very bored cooking the same ole same ole -- so often I cook two separate meals - a single serving from scratch for for him and a meal with leftovers for me. |
