First of all, welcome to YT.
As for pancreatitis, you definitely should be worried. These little ones can go down very quickly and pancreatitis can kill them quickly. I recently had one of mine in the ICU and he had to have plasma. I believe if he had not gone to the specialists, he would have died. I will never ever let my vet handle a case of presumed pancreatitis...off to the specialists I will go! I would rather be safe than sorry. And, honestly, from what I have learned these pups need 24 hour IV fluids when they have pancreatitis.
