just got back from the vet with my little Bentley, we decided on Sentinel. Bentley had a really bad UTI last march (2012) he was acting almost as if he was having a seizure...however it was not! they even tested him for liver shunt THANK GOD! it wasn't that either! Well...last week he started having these seizure like episodes....long story short....he had a double ear infection. After speaking with my vet she feels that he is very sensitive to infections and it causes these episodes...only happens when he has an infection...very weird. that being said,.,..she didn't want to chance the trifexis where as it's not recommended for dogs that are seizure prone...even though they are sure he isn't having seizures they don't want to take the chance.
And the good news!!! Bentley weighs all of 4.1 lbs and VERY healthy! I was hoping he would get to at LEAST 5 or 6 lbs but, he will be 2 in july...doesn't look like that's going to happen!..he's my little man!
