I use it once a week only on their face/head during their bath & I completely rinse it off w/warm water. It doesn't bother them. I pump the foam out onto my fingers & massage it onto their head & work down to their face, chin, sides of nose & inner corner of eyes.
Maybe try using it during her bath & see how it goes?
