+1 Those type of problems are caused by the way the store handles it.
I used to buy NV raw medallions from a local boutique pet store (all high-quality pet food, not a puppy seller), and occasionally I would get a bag with a little ice or a few of the medallions stuck together. Nothing too horrible, and certainly nothing that would make it necessary to throw the food out.
Then Petco started carrying the food and I had a coupon so I decided to buy it there. I have never seen those issues since I started buying it at Petco. I think they must keep the freezer on a setting that is a little bit cooler.
