I feed Primal, NV or similar and I do see some variety in the bags in terms of ice. I've never had any problems or issues with the foods though. Also, the meat will sometimes slightly vary in color from the last bag, and this okay - it doesn't mean something is wrong.
If you feel uncomfy w/ a bag though, I believe they're always returnable and exchangeable.
