As for our country wanting us to dislike "muslims" so we can support and fund violent actions against islamic countries, I don't see our authorities or this country doing anything but promoting tolerance of one another and even passing hate crimes laws to prevent people from harming them and others in protected groups. She's imperfect and makes mistakes, as do all countries, but over all in this world, she is a force for good that provides aid and comfort to so many countries and her own downtrodden and disadvantaged. American seems to be the prime target destination of so many in the world who want a better life and if she were as you described, I doubt they would want to come here.
On a lighter note, after today's traffic jam, I sure wish I had myself one of those Lenco Bearcats to drive sometimes! I'd sure clear out the cars coming up behind them in one of those! What a ride that would be! They say the horn on that thing is amazing. |
I think once again you took my response wrong. I wasn't judging you. I was asking you to try to understand how she feels. while you were saying "how dare she..." I was saying "whats wrong with that?" No judgement, just trying to make you see the other side. but hey agree to disagree.
And once again the theories that I gave you were what I HEARD not what I believed or made up myself. Those were not reasons I believed the bombings were staged because I don't completely believe that they were. My reason for even posting in this thread was to say that some things sounded off....not that I believe the bombing was staged. I answered your question because you seemed to think that anyone who had a theory thought that the bombing was staged JUST for the sole purpose of blaming it on someone, and I was just telling you many reasons why
PEOPLE believed it was staged. So if there are facts and links I can't provide them because I'm not the one entertaining theses theories. Just making you aware of the many theories circulating.
And yes America does racially profile muslims. When I get on the train and as soon as a man with a turban And a bag pack steps on everyone starts getting fidgety and suspicious. they didn't come up with those stereotypes by themselves, it's clearly put there. Just like when sandy hook first happened and all the details weren't in yet the news was asking was this an act of terrorism...and lets be honest...whenever the news mentions that name they're talking about radical muslims. unless they are informed its some other kind of radicalized group.
Oh and lets talk about the "billions America puts into foreign aid"....Or really to stick their noses in countries who CLEARLY don't want them there. But when Africa was BEGGING for American intervention....no one came! I find that very weird. And America isn't the only safe haven, MANY move to the UK. so America isn't the only top sought after country as you believe. And when immigrants come here they're not worried about American politics....they're worried about making money to provide for their family, that's why they come here.
Now I'm not making America into a boogeyman. To be honest I don't have to. look back on American history. It's filled with deceit and taking advantage of other countries. I mean hey thats what America was built on...them doing what they want....Stealing land, draining natural resources, importing slaves, trying to wipe out the natives. But it is what it is....I'm still proud to be American...but I'm not going to act like she's made up of sunshine and lollipops and everything that she does is for the betterment of the world. BULLCRAP! Everyone knows America is a very Power Hungry nation.
