With an ongoing investigation, I'm not surprised or bothered that we don't have all of the answers. Then you throw the news media into the mix -- they are always in such a hurry to be first and look like they know everything, mistakes are made, creating a lot confusion.
I think back to when OJ Simpson stayed at a hotel near my home in Chicago the night after the murder of his ex-wife and her friend. A huge throng of reporters were there for a week because some thought OJ hid the murder weapon in the "woods" next to the hotel. It was a clump of trees and we had a great time watching the reporters stand in front of the trees and report all kinds of silly things that were not true about the area.
Back to white hat suspect #2 in the hospital. I don't understand how he could have put the gun in his mouth and have the bullet go through his neck, and then he climbed onto the side of the boat himself to give himself up. In pictures when he is on the ground and later being wheeling into the hospital, it looked like he had an oxygen mask on his face. If the bullet had gone through his mouth and neck, wouldn't they have done a tracheostomy in the field and had the oxygen at his neck?
