Our house has been an infirmary for the past three weeks, with
Eddie's knee surgery followed by
Jillie's partial ear removal and dental that cost her 3 teeth.
My sincere sympathies to all who go through rehab with their dogs. It's more work than I remember. You have to keep them inactive but also have to do something to address their energy as it returns.
Here's a picture of Jillie's 1 1/2 ears. I'm thinking it won't be too noticeable once the hair grows out.
And here's another picture of a typical walk lately. Eddie is allowed to walk for only about 10 minutes, so we walk to the park with him in this sack, then I let him down for 10 minutes before putting him back in the sack for the trip home.
Jillie had one bad day, due mostly, I think, to the dental. She's pretty much back to her ol' smiling self.
