Strange behavior after hitting head Bentley and his skin sister were deviling this evening when he turned and ran out of the room. I did not see it but I sure heard it when he hit his head on the door frame. He didn't yelp or anything and kept on going. My daughter said he was looking behind himself and when he turned his head the side of it hit the door frame.
What has be concerned is he's acting scared. I don't know if it's because he really hurt himself or just a matter of he really startled himself.
He's drank some water and I had Kelsey give him a "cookie" since he seemed really scared of her.
He just really seems scared, walking with his tail stump down and wants to hide. I have not encountered an abused dog before but almost acts like he afraid someone's going to do something to him.
I've palpated the side of his head and neck and he does not seem like anything is hurting him.
Think I'm just looking for some reassurance. Anyone encounter anything like this before with their dogs?
Thanks for any advice.
